It is week 5 of fantasy football. I'm all over the place in both of the girls leagues I'm in (2nd place one week, 6th place the next, then back again), but I'm pretty steady in the boy's league. I have sufficiently pissed all of them off, but have not won any money yet. In 2 of 4 weeks, I've had the second highest points. Unless there is a 1 point adjustment against Heisenberg tomorrow, this week will be my 3rd of 5 (let's not talk about my scores the 2 weeks I didn't achieve this - abysmal is the word that comes to mind). But, I am the only undefeated team and in first place. While the obvious long term goal is the finish first, I am quite uncomfortable there this early in the season - there is only one way to go. So, my hope is to finish with highest points at some point and to talk enough trash to keep it interesting. My gut tells me I'll finish the season winning nothing, but at least I'm having fun!
Always a bridesmaid, never the bride. But at least I catch the bouquet...
