#5 Complete

5. Visit the Columbus Museum of Art
Completed 4/27/14

Chrissy and I went to see the ketubah (Jewish marriage contract) exhibit at the Columbus Museum of Art, which was fantastic. The ketubahs displayed range from the early 12th century to a modern one commissioned by Hallmark for a greeting card from a local Columbus artist. There was even a ketubah with a JNF donation tear off at the bottom - fundraisers never miss an opportunity, do they? After the exhibit, we walked the rest of the museum, where we saw the Toulouse-Lautrec exhibit, the stunning Chihuly, a booth that was entirely purple and a very disturbing and lifelike piece of art with real hair used on the back and shoulders of the piece.

Ketubah central.

Chihuly and purple happiness.

Disturbing - I think people after us in the room touched it.
