2017 Weeks 19-22 / May

Exciting thing: Bonus Workouts
Sometimes it is the little things that are exciting. During the last weekend of the month, I discovered that I had a workout class pass for a studio near my house with 4 classes left on it...that expired June 1. Not one to waste, I decided to try to fit in 4 classes in 5 days (and many classes were out due to prior commitments). After taking a very ballet focused barre class, a POUND class where we beat on the floor with drumsticks, Buti Yoga and a VERY early morning Power Bootcamp, I was able to use up this pass. Nevermind that I need to stack a ton of Orangetheory classes in the beginning of June, so I don't waste any of those...


Little Nagging Task: Antarctica Photo Book
I know I haven't been back that long, but this was immediately added to my little nagging tasks list a few weeks after my return. I knew it would take me a long time to complete - I had 3300 pictures to go through (and that doesn't even include the ones Maribeth took or from the ship photographer!). In true creative ops fashion, I made myself a schedule for editing and layouts, which I completed this month! Maybe I'll take this momentum and finally make my safari photobook (from my 2014 trip...). 1500 pictures feels like nothing compared to what I just finished.

  • List the people you most want to be like.
    • There are a lot of inspiring, strong women on this list. Most of whom I know personally. This list, like so many others, reminds me how truly lucky I am.
  • List the things that make your spirit feel free.
    • This one isn't my style, which made it hard to fill out.
  • List the things you want to make.
    • Answer #1 reads "ALL. THE. CRAFTS."
  • List your favorite places you have been.
    • Well this is a long one which can be summed up with one word: everywhere.
