My mom and I also saw Billy Joel. His show was AMAZING and we were on the field at The Jake, which was really fun. As if I needed more proof that I would be a TERRIBLE right fielder...
I don't like celebrating my birthday (but LOVE celebrating others). However, it is exciting to get to spend time with and hear from family and friends near and far. I'm a very lucky girl - my parents came to town and we went out to a DELICIOUS dinner, I saw so many of my favorite people at an annual 4th of July cookout (hosted by 2 of my nearest and dearest) and had a nice celebratory dinner with my closest girlfriends. Not to mention the cards, texts, calls, social media posts, etc. While I may not like celebrating my birthday (aka being the center of attention), it is exciting to be reminded of all of amazing people I am fortunate enough to have in my life. #endsappypost #notmystyle
Little Nagging Task: Fill Garage Cabinet (kind of)
I feel like I failed this month with this one. I didn't cross anything off my actual Little Nagging Tasks list. I did fill my garage cabinet (that has sat empty since I built it in January) with the things I knew I wanted to put in there, but it isn't exactly full. I need to complete other Little Nagging Tasks (mostly organizing my second bedroom closets) to figure out what else I'd like to put in there. I'll try to complete multiple ones next month to make up for this...

Lists (titles and highlights):
- List the things that make you feel healthy: mind, body, and soul.
- Aaaaaand more personal. But basically a list of my favorite things again.
- Opposites made the list: spending time with my loved ones and taking "me" time.
- Travel. Duh.
- List the wildest things you want to try.
- Travel alone (this one also scares me a bit. I love to travel, but I like to have someone to visit or someone to do things with. I'm very independent, but actually travelling alone is a different ballgame.)
- List your childhood and current dream jobs.
- Actress (clearly on the childhood part of the list)
- List the qualities you admire most in others.
- This is a long, personal list. As I was writing this list, I recognized these amazing qualities in my family and close circle of friends. See sappy birthday part of the post above for more gushing about these amazing people.
- List the words that define your personality.
- Again, personal. But thanks for reading this far.
