2017 Weeks 36-39 / September

Exciting thing: Family Illustration (and visit to California)
How stinking cute is this illustration (and how INCREDIBLY talented is Marissa Schmidt???). Marissa captured the personalities of my family members in this amazing illustration. All 4 households now have a framed copy and everyone loved it so much!!! I gave my parents and St. Louis family theirs when we were all together in July and was able to give my San Diego family theirs during a fantastic Labor Day Weekend visit out West.

Marissa is so easy to work with and good at what she does - I highly recommend getting one of these. Let me know if you want her contact info!

Little Nagging Task: Failed again...
So...I didn't complete a task from this list this month. But, I did clean up the list! Some of the items have been on there so long, they are now null and void (like calling American Airlines to complain at bag damage and travel issues about a trip from January 2016...I don't think they'd want to hear from me at this point). I also have a new found appreciation for my travel pillow, so I'm going to keep it (getting rid of it was on the list). I deleting one other thing that has been lingering for literally 10 years. I don't think it should nag me anymore...

Lists (titles and highlights):
  • List everything you love to do outdoors.
    • It might be easier for me to list the things I don’t love to do outdoors...
    • (Snark aside, I do love going on walks)
  • List what you would spend a million dollars on, just for you.
    • First thing on the list says “travel, travel, travel!”
    • Okay, I’m having flashes of the episode of friends where they play the lottery. And I’m Ross, because the second thing on my list is to pay off any debt (i.e. my mortgage) Want to live obligation free!
  • List the ways you can love yourself more.
    • TOO PERSONAL
  • List the most beautiful things you have ever seen.
    • The majority of this list is beautiful places I have been
