2017 Weeks 49-52 / December

Exciting thing: Punta Cana

I've been looking forward to this week on the calendar since the beginning of June...I spent a week in paradise with my Aunt Paula, Uncle Mike and cousin, Lauren. We relaxed, soaked up the sun, read and ate great food. I read 3 books and relaxed in a way that was much needed and a long time coming. I haven't had that type of vacation in 4.5 years - and hopefully won't be waiting that long again!

Little Nagging Task: Haircut (and donate hair)
This could have also passed as this month's exciting thing and isn't actually on my "little nagging task" list, but my hair has been bugging me for months, so it feels like this fits here. I've been growing my hair out for 3 years, since I last donated it. My hair stylist moved since my last haircut, so I was going to someone new! My risk taking with a new stylist and patience of growing my hair past my longest length of comfort paid off - I like my haircut and was able to donate 8 inches of hair to a great cause!
