Yes, you are seeing that correctly. Sock bun turkeys. Thank you, Pinterest for the idea and Erin for executing. Friendsgiving was a huge success! Below are some pictures of the beautiful turkey, Leslie carving and Matt showing me his hand that was inside the turkey earlier this morning (I could hear lots of yelling and laughing from my room). Matt referred to the turkey as Mr. Gobble Gobble all night. We had about 20 people in the apartment and TONS OF FOOD.
About an hour after people left, you would never know that we had a party. Post-party cleanup is oddly something I don't mind. It seems like everyone really enjoyed themselves - hopefully this is the first of many years of Friendsgivings...
