Grandma Roe's homemade latkes. I'm drooling - are you? They taste a million times better than they look and are definitely the reason I ask for a Hanukkah party every year. Grandma made 54 latkes - there were 7 of us at the party. The party was filled with food, family and fun! We got to Skype with Brian, Emmy and Cayden before bedtime, which was an added treat. I also received some very thoughtful and generous gifts from my parents, grandma, aunt & uncle, Lauren and the Hanukkah Fairies (who think that Lauren and I cook).Lauren and I exchanged presents and I cannot wait to test out my new nail polish (OPI Top 10 - she always knows exactly what to get me).
I love spending time with my family and celebrating holidays. And while this one is not major, it is one of my favorites. How many other holidays encourage you to eat food fried in oil? Exactly...
