Week 15 - Bachelorette

Adam Scott has a terrible singing voice.
I don't really understand why the movie is named Bachelorette.
Almost all of the characters are BAD people.
I especially don't like when James Marsden is bad - he should always be type cast as the good guy.
So many good actors, so much potential...
If I ever get married, all of my bridesmaids are on LOCK DOWN the night before the wedding.
  • What made me choose this movie?
    • I think Leslie told me about this movie about a year ago. I also really enjoy Lizzy Caplan.
  • Describe this movie in one word. JUST ONE.
    • Sobering.
  • Would I recommend it to a friend (or talk ad nauseum with my friends about it)?
    • Recommend? No. Everyone was bad.
    • Talk ad nauseum? Maybe about how bad all of the people are. My brothers always told me the girls in SATC were really bad people. They should NOT watch this movie.
  • Did I look anyone or anything up from the movie on IMDB or Wikipedia?
    • Yes - I recognized a minor character, but couldn't place her. She played the real Charlie Rhodes on GG, not the fake Charlie.
  • If I was trapped on a desert island, which character from this movie would I want to be trapped with and why?
    • Either Becky or Dale, since they seem like good people. But I don't really trust their choices in friends...Joe was nice, but would not be very helpful while trapped.
  • Did this movie provoke any outward emotional reactions? Crying, laughing out loud, throwing crap across the room, etc./et al. (Warning - I cry A LOT.)
    • No - I was mostly disgusted. I definitely laughed when I saw Reagan's name in Gena's phone and heard Gena's voicemail (both of which are too inappropriate to post on the blog).
  • Would I stop to watch this movie at any point during a showing on TBS?
    • Probably not.
  • Would I buy it on sale at Target for $5 or less (or even splurge on it full price)?
    • Definitely not.
