I want to play Quidditch. Who wants to be the golden snitch?
Does Vince Vaughn remind anyone else of Ross? Not in this movie, particularly, but just in life?
This is the first movie I've seen Rose Byrne in where I've liked her character.
I wish I has gotten that minor in programming I considered in college.
I want the app the team develops in the movie - does it exist?
- What made me choose this movie?
- Tiffany made plans for us to go see this with a big group when I spent the night with her in Cincinnati. She is a great hostess.
- Describe this movie in one word. JUST ONE.
- Predictable.
- Would I recommend it to a friend (or talk ad nauseum with my friends about it)?
- Recommend? Yes, cute and funnier than expected.
- Talk ad nauseum? No, this is not Wedding Crashers caliber. Now THAT is a movie we talked ad nauseum about for several years.
- Did I look anyone or anything up from the movie on IMDB or Wikipedia?
- I double checked that the guy with the headphones was Josh Gad. It is.
- If I was trapped on a desert island, which character from this movie would I want to be trapped with and why?
- Billy could sweet talk me into staying on that island with him forever. But only if he stops saying, "on the line." He can talk anyone into anything.
- Did this movie provoke any outward emotional reactions? Crying, laughing out loud, throwing crap across the room, etc./et al. (Warning - I cry A LOT.)
- I laughed - always a good sign when seeing a comedy.
- Would I stop to watch this movie at any point during a showing on TBS?
- Sure.
- Would I buy it on sale at Target for $5 or less (or even splurge on it full price)?
- No.
