Week 24 - This Is the End

Saw this with my mom. On her birthday. Just another reason added to the list of why she's the best.

Will I ever like Danny McBride's characters? Nope.
Lots of apocalyptic New Testament stories coming from lots of Jewish actors.
Most of my favorites died right at the beginning (mainly Mindy Kaling and Jason Segel).

• What made me choose this movie?
• I wanted to see it and my mom went along with it. Everyone knows how I feel about James Franco, and I adore Jay Baruchel.
• Describe this movie in one word. JUST ONE.
• Unexpected.
• Would I recommend it to a friend (or talk ad nauseum with my friends about it)?
• Recommend? If you like the actors who are in it, definitely. Be forewarned - it is strange.
• Talk ad nauseum? I think I need to in order to understand what happened.
• Did I look anyone or anything up from the movie on IMDB or Wikipedia?
• Didn't need to.
• If I was trapped on a desert island, which character from this movie would I want to be trapped with and why?
• James Franco, because we all know how I feel about James Franco.
• Did this movie provoke any outward emotional reactions? Crying, laughing out loud, throwing crap across the room, etc./et al. (Warning - I cry A LOT.)
• Lots of laughs and horrified glances in my mom's direction.
• Would I stop to watch this movie at any point during a showing on TBS?
• Don't think this will ever make it onto TBS...but I'd probably stop and have it on in the background.
• Would I buy it on sale at Target for $5 or less (or even splurge on it full price)?
• No. Hard pass.
