Haven't seen Michael Rapaport lately - only in reruns of Friends. I just don't watch his recent work.
- What made me choose this movie?
- Sandra Bullock. Melissa McCarthy. Paul Feig. Done.
- Describe this movie in one word. JUST ONE.
- Hilarious.
- Would I recommend it to a friend (or talk ad nauseum with my friends about it)?
- Recommend? Yes, it was funny, action packed and anchored by two female comedic stars.
- Talk ad nauseum? Probably, I'm sure I missed some clues on what was going to happen (even though I guessed it, NBD).
- Did I look anyone or anything up from the movie on IMDB or Wikipedia?
- I had to look up one actor who I recognized and couldn't place (I only recognize him from guest appearances on some of my favorite series). I also had to look up Marlon Wayans's character's name for the next question.
- If I was trapped on a desert island, which character from this movie would I want to be trapped with and why?
- Levy. He's the best one - funny, charming, smart, tough. Yes, please.
- Did this movie provoke any outward emotional reactions? Crying, laughing out loud, throwing crap across the room, etc./et al. (Warning - I cry A LOT.)
- Lots of laughter and shocked looks in my grandma's direction. My mom kept saying that she couldn't believe she was at this movie with her mother!
- Would I stop to watch this movie at any point during a showing on TBS?
- Definitely.
- Would I buy it on sale at Target for $5 or less (or even splurge on it full price)?
- Probably not.
