WARNING: Don't read this before you see the movie (except for this line - stay through the credits. Great outtakes). While there are no spoilers, I just want your expectations to be low.
NO RAGRETS.
- What made me choose this movie?
- Good cast and it was the only thing Chrissy and I were willing to see in the theater close to her house/my office.
- Describe this movie in one word. JUST ONE.
- Unexpected.
- Would I recommend it to a friend (or talk ad nauseum with my friends about it)?
- Recommend? As long as you go in with low low low expectations, yes. Because then you'll be pleasantly surprised like we were (and roar with laughter).
- Talk ad nauseum? Chrissy and I stood in the parking lot for 30 minutes after the movie, so I think we did.
- Did I look anyone or anything up from the movie on IMDB or Wikipedia?
- No - I either knew them or knew I wouldn't. Does that make sense?
- If I was trapped on a desert island, which character from this movie would I want to be trapped with and why?
- I will not answer how Chrissy and I discussed in the parking lot after the movie. But it would be funny if I did.
- Did this movie provoke any outward emotional reactions? Crying, laughing out loud, throwing crap across the room, etc./et al. (Warning - I cry A LOT.)
- I yelled "no" when David said that spelling Sara with an h is the best way. I laughed a lot - like full body laughs. Slapping my knee, stomping my feet, roaring laughter. At least I didn't snort like SOMEONE sitting next to me...
- Would I stop to watch this movie at any point during a showing on TBS?
- Definitely.
- Would I buy it on sale at Target for $5 or less (or even splurge on it full price)?
- Yes.
