It's the little things in life that make me smile. But today it was a big thing. A BIG MONITOR! I've been coveting my coworker's big monitor since she started in July. A week and a half ago my manager told me to order one, so I didn't waste any time. It came today and it is GLORIOUS. I couldn't stop smiling the rest of the day. I stayed late tonight - I got on a roll with all the time I'm saving on my normal tasks. It is everything I hoped for and more - literally twice the width of the monitor I had been using for the past 4 1/2 years. So thank you, technology services, for hooking me up today.
I imagine I'll still be smiling at my big monitor tomorrow, as well. Let's see how long this honeymoon period lasts. Tomorrow is only Wednesday...
