Day 28

I took a lot of good pictures today. But this one definitely takes the cake (CHEESECAKE! That would only be funny to Eileen, Jess and Heather. We had too much fun tonight). Jess, Heather and I went to visit Eileen in North Carolina for the weekend. On the first night, we had quite the treat! We were able to Skype with Cole in Afghanistan. The internet connection was amazing - we could see and hear him clearly with no delays or freezing. If only Skype worked so well to talk to my family that is in this country! It was great to see Cole and hear his voice. I just hope he stays safe over there and comes back in time for his son's birth. Thanks to Jess for staging this picture, which they both thought was really awkward, but I love!

Today's picture was almost of my in the cockpit of our second flight (from Tampa Bay to Raleigh - we didn't understand our flight pattern). I told one of the flight attendants who LOVED us about my blog, and she wanted me to take a picture in the cockpit. I opted not to, but it sparked a conversation about how I flew a plane when I was 18. The evidence can be seen below, for the non-believers (cough, cough, Jess and Heather, cough, cough)...
