Happy actual birthday to me! Today, my mom came down to spend the day with me. We went to lunch, attempted to watch the Doo Dah Parade (but got too hot and walked home), saw Ted and had dinner. She also served as the hand deliverer of my grandma's birthday card, which had the seal above. It is not always the easiest to have your birthday on a holiday, but when your grandma says you're the best part of the 4th of July, it doesn't seem so bad. Spending the day with my mom was the best way I can think to spend my birthday. I am so grateful that she came down!
At 27, I'm still in my mid-twenties, right? Please say yes...
