I killed 1 1/9 birds with one stone. I saw Academy Award Best Picture nominee Philomena alone. The small theater was about 3/4 full and there was only 1 person within 30 years of my age.
This was a good choice to see alone - the movie was really good, but there wasn't a ton I wanted to talk about during or after. And I cried...4 times.

This was a good choice to see alone - the movie was really good, but there wasn't a ton I wanted to talk about during or after. And I cried...4 times.
Please note that I bought my ticket 3 minutes after the movie start time. Perk of going to a movie by yourself - no one is waiting and missing previews because of you!
I sat down just in time to see the end of the last preview and the nonsensical AMC no cellphone reel.
