One visit to James and 8+ inches later, I feel like a new woman. I can't put my hair in a ponytail. I can't wear my hair curly. And I love (almost) every second of it. I made the cut on November 15, but then life got in the way, and I mailed my donation to Pantene Beautiful Lengths on December 15.
Thanksgiving week, my 7 1/2 year old niece told me the following:
I explained to her that I cut it to help make wigs for people who are sick and take medicine that causes them to lose their hair. She thought that was really nice, so we are both going to grow our hair out and make the next big cut together!

- Everyone looks better with their hair in a ponytail.

There's something weird about a bag full of human hair, even when it is your own...
