Complete 12/6/14
My mom and I spent a very special afternoon in downtown Cleveland, having Holiday Tea at the Ritz Carlton. We started with champagne cocktails (mimosa for me, bellini for Mom) - if I had known that tea started with champagne, I would have done this earlier and more frequently! Over 2+ hours, we each tried 2 teas and got very full off of delicious finger sandwiches and a beautiful display of desserts. We chatted, reminisced and enjoyed some one-on-one time. It was such a wonderful afternoon that I hope we can make an annual tradition!
There were so many tea choices on the menu, it was hard to choose!
Presentation matters - but it didn't hurt that all 4 teas we tried, along with each sandwich and dessert, were delicious!
Starting off the way any day should, with champagne (mimosas and bellinis)!
