June - The 3 Year Nagging Task

Restaurant: Prohibition

We went on a Powell bar crawl this month, which consisted of 3 bars (including dinner at Prohibition). There were a lot of good options to choose from on the menu - I ended up going with The Bootlegger, which was a delicious burger and fries. It was beautiful weather, filled with games, good food, good beer and even better people (and it was Leo's first bar crawl!).
I forgot to take a picture of my meal, but here's a picture of my cider and wonderful friends who I was there with!

Recipe: Stuffed Shells
This recipe had 2 major things I look for when trying something new: ricotta as an ingredient and the ability to use my slow cooker. I seem to modify all of these recipes a tiny bit, but this one was probably modified the least.
Before and after cooking. I hope this freezes well...

Little nagging task: Order dining room table
Over the past 3 years, barely a single conversation with my mother has gone by where she has not mentioned my lack of dining room table. In January, I finally decided on which table I wanted, but didn't want to order until I got back from my trip to Europe. Then February went by. Then March. And so on - this clearly became a little nagging task. And in June, I finally ordered it! I ordered the chairs back in May during a big Memorial Day sale and received those in June. Getting it delivered has been a whole other ordeal, but I ordered it and THAT is what was on the list. Once it is delivered, what will my mom and I talk about?!?!?!? [UPDATE: AS OF JULY 15, THE TABLE DRAMA HAS OFFICIALLY ENDED!]

Habit: Use antiseptic mouth wash
Thanks to my dental hygienist for making my June resolution habit decision for me! During my 6 month dental check-up at the end of May, my hygienist suggested that I start using Listerine to prevent bone loss that could happen due to recession from my braces on one of my molars. Sounds serious, so I decided to comply with her suggestion. This has been pretty easy to add to my dental routine!
