July - That Time I Looked Through 1800+ Pictures

Restaurant: The Avenue, Balboa and Gallo's Tap Room
I knocked out new restaurants early in the month this time. My parent's came to Columbus for my birthday and we went to dinner at The Avenue - it was everything I had hoped for and more. Amazing meal with better company. A couple of days later, I headed to Balboa with Lisa and Jillian. Great atmosphere and okay food. Will definitely head back once the weather cools down to sit on the huge patio! A couple of weeks later, we had book club at Gallo's Tap Room on Bethel Rd. Great company, one good book, one "meh" book and just okay food. Not running back here to eat, but would come back from drinks some time.
Ranking the 3 from left to right: The Avenue, Balboa, Gallo's Tap Room.

Recipe: Hash Brown Casserole
Well, this was a huge hit at my coworker's work bridal shower (thanks, Pinterest!). Testing out recipes on my team seems to be the way to go, so I'm not stuck with over a week of leftovers! Modifications to this recipe: cream of potato soup instead of cream of chicken, 9x13 pan instead of 11x14 (which changed the baking time from 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes). The onion I got for this was STRONG, so the tears came out in full force.
Will definitely be making this again - super easy and even more delicious.

Little nagging task: Europe Photo Book
I only got back from this trip in February - NBD. I make my photo books on Picaboo, since they are completely customizable. I wish you could straighten pictures and create folders for pictures, but this is the best site for how I want to control my books. I gave myself goals for this one: one city per night. Next step is to order it! Maybe I'll wait until I finally create my safari book (since I've been back from that trip for almost 2 years)!

Habit: File Receipts
I used to be really good about this. When I graduated college, I created an excel budget spreadsheet and logged every single purchase I made. Now I'm just trying to get the receipts out of my purse! I was definitely better than I have been the past 2 years about this, but this habit still has a ways to go, since I only file receipts a few times per week instead of daily.
