I've been meaning to clean out my coat closet for the 3 years I've lived in my condo. I found things that I've clearly been moving for the past 10+ years without looking at. 2 examples: an Honors Ambassador business card one of my best friends gave to me while we were in college and printouts of an AOL instant messaging conversation (not AIM - full on AOL) from 1999. I still have more work do to on that closet - I feel like I could use the space better, but I am so happy to check the clean out off of my to do list.
One for you: Clothing Donation
After a year of having an overflowing laundry basket filled with clothes to donate sitting in my bedroom (which only drove me slightly crazy), I finally took inventory, bagged and donated 4 bags worth of clothes and shoes. This made me happy...but I'm hoping it is making other people happy, too! I asked a networking group I'm in for suggestions on where to donate where it would go directly to people who could use the items. It turns out that another member of the group oversees donations for one such organization, so on a Friday I had off, I dropped off all of the clothes and had lunch with my friend!
I got a bonus workout carrying these heavy bags to my car
