It was a busy Saturday at Grandpa's Cheesebarn. Anyone who frequents I-71 between Mansfield and Cleveland is familiar with this establishment at the Ashland exit (exit 186 to be exact, same as the Goasis gas station). In my 9 years of drives between Columbus and Cleveland, I have stopped at Grandpa's Cheesebarn exactly once - until today. Usually, I'm driving once it is closed or I have a certain time I need to arrive at my destination. I was in no rush to get to Cleveland today and decided to take a look around. The place was packed - there were only a few spots left in the lot. I sampled several cheese on the second floor of the cheesebarn and took a stroll around Sweetie's candy shop, picking up a few treats for dessert at my parents' house tonight.
One of these days, I'll need to buy some of the amazing cheeses I tried. I just need to remember to bring a cooler or stop when I know I'm going straight home...
