Fantastic.
If this movie teaches us anything, be on the right side of history.
- What made me choose this movie?
- My mom wanted to see it and it looked fantastic.
- Describe this movie in one word. JUST ONE.
- Inspiring.
- Would I recommend it to a friend (or talk ad nauseum with my friends about it)?
- Recommend? Absolutely.
- Talk ad nauseum? Yes, I asked my mom questions about living through most of this time when we were on our way home.
- Did I look anyone or anything up from the movie on IMDB or Wikipedia?
- I looked up the actor who played Louis, who was the only main character I didn't recognize (which is funny, because he has been in SO MANY THINGS. Just nothing I have seen).
- If I was trapped on a desert island, which character from this movie would I want to be trapped with and why?
- Cecil. He is a survivor and has so much pride.
- Did this movie provoke any outward emotional reactions? Crying, laughing out loud, throwing crap across the room, etc./et al. (Warning - I cry A LOT.)
- I laughed. I cried. And I'll cry at the Oscar acceptance speeches.
- Would I stop to watch this movie at any point during a showing on TBS?
- Maybe.
- Would I buy it on sale at Target for $5 or less (or even splurge on it full price)?
- Probably not.
