One of my favorite quotes comes from this part of the book/this movie in the Kings Cross scene.
"Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?" -Dubmledore
- What made me choose this movie?
- Finishing the series! Can't wait to go to Ollivander's and have my wand choose me!
- Describe this movie in one word. JUST ONE.
- Intense.
- Would I recommend it to a friend (or talk ad nauseum with my friends about it)?
- Recommend? If you've seen the first seven, you have to finish it out.
- Talk ad nauseum? Only if you've seen the first seven.
- Did I look anyone or anything up from the movie on IMDB or Wikipedia?
- No need!
- If I was trapped on a desert island, which character from this movie would I want to be trapped with and why?
- Couldn't we apparate off the island? Would we truly be stuck? I feel like I should say Harry, but I just love Ginny in this one. Ginny and I would be besties on the island (but with her red hair and fair skin, would she burn? Hopefully she brought an endless supply of sunscreen).
- Did this movie provoke any outward emotional reactions? Crying, laughing out loud, throwing crap across the room, etc./et al. (Warning - I cry A LOT.)
- It was so intense that I would take breaks to read a chapter of Lean In for book club. Scared to empowered and back again is an interesting range of emotions for a Sunday evening.
- Would I stop to watch this movie at any point during a showing on TBS?
- You bet.
- Would I buy it on sale at Target for $5 or less (or even splurge on it full price)?
- As part of the whole series!
