I got this DVD for Hanukkah 2003. I think it is about time I watched it...

• What made me choose this movie?
• After seeing Mike as Billy Flynn in the play earlier this year, I figured it was time to watch the movie.
• Describe this movie in one word. JUST ONE.
• Jazzy.
• Would I recommend it to a friend (or talk ad nauseum with my friends about it)?
• Recommend? If you like musicals, sure.
• Talk ad nauseum? No.
• Did I look anyone or anything up from the movie on IMDB or Wikipedia?
• I looked up the actor who played Fred. I recognized him, but couldn't place him (28 Days with Sandra Bullock. He's the bad boyfriend before she falls in love with Viggo Mortensen.)
• If I was trapped on a desert island, which character from this movie would I want to be trapped with and why?
• Velma is the best character and I feel so bad for Amos, but I'd want to be on the island with Mama. She'd look out for me on the island.
• Did this movie provoke any outward emotional reactions? Crying, laughing out loud, throwing crap across the room, etc./et al. (Warning - I cry A LOT.)
• No, but I knew what to expect from the play.
• Would I stop to watch this movie at any point during a showing on TBS?
• Probably not.
• Would I buy it on sale at Target for $5 or less (or even splurge on it full price)?
