Today was the day of Brittany - we celebrated her birthday and her engagement at work. In addition, she is the second ever guest photographer on this blog! When she told me that Joey had proposed on Saturday, I started yelling in my apartment out of excitement. That has yet to cease - I'm so happy for them! They are one of my favorite couples. I knew that today's post would center around the lady of the day, but I figured it would be a picture of her GORGEOUS engagement ring (which she sent me a picture of on Saturday, that doesn't even do it justice. It is absolutely stunning in person!) But when I was called over to Brittany's desk, it was to see that interestingly enough, Cheryl and I picked out the same birthday card for Miss Brittany. What are the chances? In mine, I even wrote about how she needs to say this to Cheryl and Mollie at work. Great minds think scarily creepily alike. I planned this picture at that moment, but work got busy and Brittany left with her cards in tow before I had a chance to snap it. So, sweet as she is, Brittany agreed to take a picture of the twin cards at home for me.
Brittany knows me so well, that she took this picture in front of the oversize martini glasses that we got together. And, Brittany, I'm still yelling over my excitement of your engagement...
