Tonight is the night that I have been highly anticipating for a year - the Hunger Games movie premiere! We took the picture above before the movie. Pictured are my Jackyard ladies (the name of the book club we created to read the series - Mollie, Anna and Phokeng), Cheryl, Elaine, Krysti and Katie (special thanks to Jake, Krysti's boyfriend, for taking this group shot). You'll notice that Cheryl, Mollie, Anna and I are all wearing Katniss inspired side braids. Phokeng's hair is always the cutest - she always has some type of braid. The movie was AMAZING. I laughed (surprisingly), cried (more like sobbed - surprising to my work friends who apparently never see me show emotion), screamed and shook with nervous anticipation for 2 1/2 hours. The book is definitely better, as always, but the movie was very well done. I can't wait for movie #2!
Getting home at 3am on a Thursday is semi-rough. Those of us working tomorrow will be very tired, so beware...
