Day 155

Easton AMC = self-service hell. Today, my movie friend Ashleigh and I went to see Snow White and the Huntsman. I was not overly excited to see the movie (I really wanted popcorn, so asked Ashleigh if she wanted to go to the movies), but actually enjoyed it. No need to see the movie if you've seen Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, the trailer for Breaking Dawn, any part of Braveheart, Black Swan and Kristen Stewart in any acting role, interview or photograph. I'm not a huge Kristen Stewart fan, but Charlize Theron was AMAZING and the two leading men were easy on the eyes. And I can't forget the dwarves - the best characters, obviously. But, before we saw the movie, we had to go through concession self-service hell to get our snacks (meaning the popcorn I had been craving). The only self-service experiences I can remember disliking more are self-checkout at the grocery store (there's inevitably an issue and someone needs to come help anyways. I swear I placed the item in the bag!) and the wrap your own gifts station at the Easton Bed, Bath & Beyond.

I do like being self-sufficient, but, as I studied and work in operations, inefficient systems just make want to fix things...
