So many Duplasses.
Who hasn't tried to get out of paying an extra fee for having multiple people in a hotel room?
- What made me choose this movie?
- Between The League and The Mindy Project, I'm just loving Mark Duplass.
- Describe this movie in one word. JUST ONE.
- Relatable. Who hasn't felt like one of these characters at some point in a relationship (either with family or significant others)?
- Would I recommend it to a friend (or talk ad nauseum with my friends about it)?
- Recommend - Worth a watch if you like indie movies.
- Talk ad nauseum? These are the types of movies I like to watch with my mom, who is a social worker, and get her professional opinion.
- Did I look anyone or anything up from the movie on IMDB or Wikipedia?
- There are only a handful of people in this movie. I knew who 2 of them were before I watched. I figured I might as well look up the rest.
- If I was trapped on a desert island, which character from this movie would I want to be trapped with and why?
- Josh and I would be able to keep each other company, but Rhett seems to have the best survival skills. I'd get really bored watching lizards with him, though. Let's go with Josh.
- Did this movie provoke any outward emotional reactions? Crying, laughing out loud, throwing crap across the room, etc./et al. (Warning - I cry A LOT.)
- Not really, but I was engaged the whole time.
- Would I stop to watch this movie at any point during a showing on TBS?
- Probably not., I usually stop to watch a feel good comedy.
- Would I buy it on sale at Target for $5 or less (or even splurge on it full price)?
- Probably not, feels to voyeuristic to watch repeatedly.
