Apparently, I'm on a Mark Duplass kick.
There's one scene where Jeff is eating a Pop Tart without icing. Who does that?
Some of the old photos in the opening credits were poorly retouched together.
- What made me choose this movie?
- I've wanted to see this since it came out. I'll give anything with Jason Segel a shot (I put away 2 seasons of HIMYM while I was being productive this past week). I started to watch it on the plane home from China, but fell asleep (not because it wasn't entertaining, but because I had just spent 10 days in China!).
- Describe this movie in one word. JUST ONE.
- Connecting.
- Would I recommend it to a friend (or talk ad nauseum with my friends about it)?
- Recommend? Yes.
- Talk ad nauseum? Not necessary. But I will start looking for more connections.
- Did I look anyone or anything up from the movie on IMDB or Wikipedia?
- Only because I was already on IMDB getting the picture for this post. I recognized 4 of the 5 main actors and clicked on the name of the actress who played Carol, since I didn't recognize her.
- If I was trapped on a desert island, which character from this movie would I want to be trapped with and why?
- Jeff. He's the best character. I don't want to ruin the movie with a more detailed answer, but when you're done watching, I feel confident that you'd agree.
- Did this movie provoke any outward emotional reactions? Crying, laughing out loud, throwing crap across the room, etc./et al. (Warning - I cry A LOT.)
- I teared up at the end. If I wasn't so tired/busy, I may have produced tears.
- Would I stop to watch this movie at any point during a showing on TBS?
- Depends on my mood.
- Would I buy it on sale at Target for $5 or less (or even splurge on it full price)?
- Probably not.
