I think I only have one question at the end of this - what did Tony name his new element?
Does Sam Rockwell ever play a good guy?
This makes me want to see Iron Man 3, Thor, The Hulk, Captain America and re-watch The Avengers. That's a big time commitment...
- What made me choose this movie?
- It happened to be on TV and I figured I should watch 2 before seeing 3.
- Describe this movie in one word. JUST ONE.
- Badass. (Is that really two words?)
- Would I recommend it to a friend (or talk ad nauseum with my friends about it)?
- Recommend? Yes, if you like action superhero movies. Tony Stark's personality and hubris is strangely endearing instead of annoying. But, not as good as the first movie...
- Talk ad nauseum? Yes, since I always feel like I miss things in these movies.
- Did I look anyone or anything up from the movie on IMDB or Wikipedia?
- When I saw Justin Theroux wrote it, I looked it up just to make sure it is the same guy who is engaged to Jennifer Aniston. It is. I didn't know he wrote movies...
- If I was trapped on a desert island, which character from this movie would I want to be trapped with and why?
- Tony, for obvious reasons. Genius gorgeous billionaire playboy? But, Don Cheadle always makes me happy.
- Did this movie provoke any outward emotional reactions? Crying, laughing out loud, throwing crap across the room, etc./et al. (Warning - I cry A LOT.)
- Laughed a little, but mostly just watched intently to piece together all of the bits and pieces I'd seen over the years.
- Would I stop to watch this movie at any point during a showing on TBS?
- I've seen pieces and parts over the years on FX. Now that I've seen the whole thing, I don't know why I wouldn't continue to stop and watch.
- Would I buy it on sale at Target for $5 or less (or even splurge on it full price)?
- Probably not. It seems to be on TV a lot.
