By the way, I know Bruce Davidson's name before watching this documentary.
Two big misses: they failed to mention that Timothy Omundson was the bad guy in The Luck of the Irish or Stanley Kamel played the gangster Tony who killed his daughter Toni accidentally instead of Dylan on the original 90210.
- What made me choose this movie?
- I came across it on Netflix and realized it is right up my alley. I have a knack for remembering actors' names and credits.
- Describe this movie in one word. JUST ONE.
- Honest.
- Would I recommend it to a friend (or talk ad nauseum with my friends about it)?
- Recommend? If you're interested in the acting world, auditioning, etc., then yes.
- Talk ad nauseum? Maybe, depends on the interested party (aspiring actor, someone who is a walking IMDB like me!)
- Did I look anyone or anything up from the movie on IMDB or Wikipedia?
- No need - the movie tells you all of the actors' names and credits.
- If I was trapped on a desert island, which character from this movie would I want to be trapped with and why?
- Matt Malloy can trap a fly, stun it and tie a note to its leg. Don't you think that would get us off the island?
- Did this movie provoke any outward emotional reactions? Crying, laughing out loud, throwing crap across the room, etc./et al. (Warning - I cry A LOT.)
- I nodded a lot during moments of recognition.
- Would I stop to watch this movie at any point during a showing on TBS?
- Probably not, but I don't often watch documentaries more than once.
- Would I buy it on sale at Target for $5 or less (or even splurge on it full price)?
- No.
