Few things are better than having a delicious Northstar brunch with one of your best friends in the world. 2 things made today's brunch better: sharing a cookie for an appetizer and Northstar giving you a coupon for a free meal next time you come. Heather and I were having so much fun catching up that we didn't even realize how long we were waiting for our food (even though Heather kept mentioning how excited she was for the famed breakfast burrito!). There's plenty to talk about when one of your best friends is an extremely involved 3L getting ready for finals and hooding! After brunch, I picked up Elaine for a day of crafting. She made me a BEAUTIFUL hat for my upcoming journey to the Derby. Pictures of that to come closer to Derby time.
I guess Heather and I will just have to have brunch part 2 again soon - twist my arm, Northstar. Maybe next time I'll go for the ricotta pancakes...
