Look at what I received via interoffice mail today - a head shot of one of my fantastic cross-functional partners, autographed and all! I really enjoy the range of emotion detailed in these pictures. Anthony is an actor outside of the work, but is most definitely a comedian at the office. Our friendship developed over the HILARIOUS notes he used to put in the requests for images I approve. To this day, I have a long series of them hanging on my wall. In this series he asked me to be his valentine (on 1/12/11 - yes, I checked the date), hence the personalization on the photo. His fiancee is aware that I am his work request valentine and is totally ok with this - I think I'd like her. This headshot, plus the MLB opening day event PINK put on at work makes for a good Wednesday.
On another note, I continued the trend of eating things I can't eat during Passover at lunch today. I had a turkey and cheese sandwich (I don't mix milk and meat during Passover). I'm hoping to make matzo toffee for the first time. I'm looking for a good/easy (emphasis on the EASY) recipe if anyone has one...
