Draft day is one of my favorite days of the year and I celebrated by drinking coffee out of my Browns travel mug this morning. I feel filled with so much hope for a short period of time. The football season hangs in the balance and there are some very important decisions will be made. As a Browns fan, I know that there is a very good chance we will ruin the career of our first round pick(s) - except Joe Thomas. That's my favorite first round pick we've had since the Browns return (not to mention that I watched the first round of that draft by myself in a sorority house screaming at the TV. As I walked across campus shortly after in my jersey, many people decided to share that the Browns had picked up Brady Quinn with a second first round pick. I promptly responded with, "I know. Even though he is insanely attractive, I don't want him.")
Football season is my favorite season of the year. Win or (mostly) lose, I'm a Browns fan. I can't wait to see how the Browns break my heart this year...
