New Year, New Resolution

Ground rules for my 2013 resolution: watch at least one movie a week that I haven't seen before (and post about it, since people keep asking me if I will). 

Now, I am no movie critic. I basically like every movie I've ever seen, so I will answer a set of questions about each movie (all suggested by my lovely friends!). I will watch one new movie a week (a week is Sunday through Saturday, with the first week of the year being short (Tuesday through Sunday) and only doing the last three days of the year as bonus if I have time (Sunday through Tuesday) - yep, I thought this through.

The questions are as follows:

• What made me choose this movie?
• Describe this movie in one word. JUST ONE.
• Would I recommend it to a friend (or talk ad nauseum with my friends about it)?
• Did I look anyone or anything up from the movie on IMDB or Wikipedia?
• If I was trapped on a desert island, which character from this movie would I want to be trapped with and why?
• Did this movie provoke any outward emotional reactions? Crying, laughing out loud, throwing crap across the room, etc./et al. (Warning - I cry A LOT.)
• Would I stop to watch this movie at any point during a showing on TBS?
• Would I buy it on sale at Target for $5 or less (or even splurge on it full price)?
