Fritzi and Vlad are both two-faced? There's a twist I didn't see coming...
I rarely watch a movie I don't like. When that rare occasion rolls around, I immediately revert back to sorority recruitment and feel the need to "pro, con, con, pro" to end on a positive.
Pro: Anna Kendrick is the best actor in the movie.
Con: She is only in 5 scenes.
Con: This movie is horrible.
Pro: There are a lot of talented singers.
- What made me choose this movie?
- I'm pretty sure either Naomi, Alana or Ashleigh told me about this a million years ago. I can't be sure of who or when, or if any of this is even true.
- Describe this movie in one word. JUST ONE.
- Cheesy. But not in the good way.
- Would I recommend it to a friend (or talk ad nauseum with my friends about it)?
- Recommend - no.
- Talk ad nauseum? Absolutely not. I don't want to think about it anymore.
- Did I look anyone or anything up from the movie on IMDB or Wikipedia?
- Everyone, to see if anyone is famous (besides Anna Kendrick) and I just didn't recognize them. The answer is no.
- If I was trapped on a desert island, which character from this movie would I want to be trapped with and why?
- Can I choose Stephen Sondheim? He briefly appears as himself and has two lines...
- Did this movie provoke any outward emotional reactions? Crying, laughing out loud, throwing crap across the room, etc./et al. (Warning - I cry A LOT.)
- Laughed at the awkwardness and terrible acting. And a lot of vocal disgust, like when Vlad picked an eye boogie off of Ellen.
- Would I stop to watch this movie at any point during a showing on TBS?
- No, and I don't think TBS would play it.
- Would I buy it on sale at Target for $5 or less (or even splurge on it full price)?
- No.
