I returned my last Harry Potter book on CD to the library today. I actually finished yesterday on my way home from work, but dropped it off today. For the past day, I've been listening to the radio. It's weird to hear something other than Jim Dale's voice coming out of my car stereo. I spent nearly 5 whole days of my life listening to Jim's smooth British voice (118 hours total - I did the math). I decided I don't like listening to the radio - I've been listening to books on CD for over a year now. I randomly picked up a frilly girly looking book on CD in the 2 minutes I had at the library while they were making "we're closing in 2 minutes" announcements. When I put the first CD in my car, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Lisa Kudrow is narrating this book.
In my mind, she looks like the below pictures while reading it to me (:19 and :20 from the Friends first season opening credits). I can only hope that there is part of the book where the narrator is forced to break out in song...
