Tonight, some girl friends went to dinner and then headed to Ladies '80s. I opted not to go, but instead put out the impromptu invite for champagne at my apartment (which is across the street from where they ate dinner) in between the two activities. 2 of the girls are starting new jobs on Monday, which was the cause for tonight's celebration. I learned that they don't read this blog every day (which I teased them about, of course. I'm truly surprised anyone reads it at all!) But I feel pretty confident that they'll read this post, since the picture is of the pretty pink champagne.
In reflecting on my week, I realized that Tuesday I bribed coworkers with candy and tonight I bribed some friends with champagne. I'm running out of ideas and I'm seeing more friends tomorrow night. I'm open to suggestions...
