Happy Wednesday or day after Valentine's Day to me! It's always fun to get mail. Last year, I had a small surprise and delight campaign for some friends who live out of town - I would send them a card and sometimes a mix CD. This didn't last very long, as I soon ran out of steam, but the 4 or 5 friends who received them seemed very happy. I love getting mail - cards from friends and family or retail direct mail pieces (I'm such a nerd - I like them for more than just the coupons). But, today, I got a Starbucks reward in the mail. The Starbucks rewards program is one of my favorites - since I got a Keurig, I don't go to Starbucks nearly as much (my bank account is very happy with me). So, getting a reward is even more exciting, since they come fewer and further between!
I also love the copy on the Starbucks rewards - they have fun with their disclaimers ("Pardon us while we cover our bases," "must be cheerfully handed over at time of visit," etc.). I'm such a nerd. It looks like Thursday may include a trip to the Starbucks in my lobby at work...
