Today is Leap Day, the day that is turning my Project 365 blog into Project 366. I went to dinner with some lovely ladies tonight at the jury room. One of these ladies took a particular liking to our server. She spoke several times about how attractive he was. I decided pretty early on that I was leaving her number for said server. She didn't believe I would do it (she has done this to me before, but not when I took a liking to the server. And he texted me. Uggghhh - but that is a story for another time.) This picture shows the signs of a struggle, as she repeatedly tried remove the slip with her name and number off the table. I was sneaky and kept it in my hand, leaving my signed credit card slip out as a decoy. She (I keep using pronouns as SHE has asked not to be identified) said I should take a picture of this for my blog. I said I would, but only if she let me leave it, so I could post a follow up if he called her. She agreed, so I have held up my end of our verbal contract.
I also think she let me leave the number because nothing on Leap Day counts, according to 30 Rock. Our server was really cute, so I hope he calls the girl in the plaid shirt and I can post a follow up...
