Day 134

I started this Mother's Day having a lovely brunch at Tasi with Rachel, followed by spending the evening with the most amazing women in my life. My family in Cleveland and Cincinnati converged upon Columbus for Mother's Day (no complaints here). The ten of us had a DELICIOUS dinner at Marcella's and spent several hours together before going our separate ways (everyone else went home - I watched Cleveland get destroyed in The Avengers). Unfortunately, Grandma Roe closed her eyes in this picture, but it was the only one that wasn't blurry!

Below is a picture of my mother holding me on my first birthday. Nearly 26 years later, she is even more beautiful (and does not look 26 years older!). Being the amazing mother that she is, she sewed the hem of one of my dresses after dinner, while I spent quality time with my grandma. I am not too proud to admit that I cannot sew a hem - I make it work with safety pins...
