Let the de-Chinafying continue. I've done several loads of laundry to wash China off of my clothes, but I'm avoiding the shoes and luggage - they'll be the biggest feat. Cleaning the shoes sounds like the last thing I want to do after a long day of playing catch-up at work. I brought my shoes back in bags, as Jess advised, so they wouldn't touch anything else (I was wearing the Sperry's - they now live by the door until it's their turn for de-Chinafication). While the streets of China don't look dirty, you realize how dirty they actually are once you spend some time walking around. I will spare you the details, but feel free to inquire.
I wonder how long I can go without any of these shoes, as cleaning them does not sound very fun...
