Let me start this post with a fact: I am not crafty. I'm sure someone who is crafty would have gotten a kick from watching me attempt to fix my TOMS (Elaine - I'm looking at you). But, in the end, I did it. No more hole in the toe of the right shoe (it is under this new canvas and patched from the inside with duct tape. Thanks, Google.) I didn't work today - I left the house at 9:30am and have yet to stop moving! I ran tons of errands, had a couple of appointments, did tons of stuff around my apartment and then fixed my TOMS. Top off the night with a little manicure and I'd call this the most productive Wednesday ever.
The pattern is shifted between the 2 shoes. I've decided I'm ok with it - I knew it wasn't going to match from the beginning. Even though they're not perfect, $10 and about an hour to fix the shoes? Not a bad deal...
