On my last day in China, Jess and I headed walked around the French Concession, had a late leisurely lunch at one of the Shanghai Brewery locations and headed to Tianzifang for some last minute drinks and shopping. Jess has been wanting some panda paraphernalia since before I arrived in China. She did not purchase his hat, but I really wish she would have. She found it and asked me to take her picture in it. Behind her, you can see what Tianzifang is like - lots of alleyways with shops, bars and restaurants. There's another picture below. We briefly stopped here on my first day and went back for more!
Jess accompanied me to the airport where we found out that my flight was two hours delayed. Luckily, I have a five hour layover in LA, so I will not have to reschedule any of my flights. Jess spent some time with me at the airport and we were able to have one last meal together. I was not ready to say goodbye to her (and am not ready to get back to the real world). But, I have 24 hours of travel ahead of me - time to return from my CHINAdventure to reality...
